We have a customer who wants timed bells (ie: ring at 10AM, at 12PM...) to run through their IPO. We have schools that do this, but they have an external system (like a Rauland, etc).

Can the IPO do this on it's own?

No, They want it to tie into their paging system. Right now all they have is paging through the IPO that goes over a loudspeaker.

I tryed to do this awhile back and found that I could not trigger a page aside grom dialing an extension or shortcode. You can build the "after" part to play a wave after a page but the timed trigger is what I could not achive.

There are master clocks that can be used to trigger different or the same contact closure but then there would be no need to have it run through the IPO in this case.

Thats what I was thinking.... I could think of a way the IPO would trigger at certain times all alone.

alarm action maybe, does it request the user to call for the alarm. it still deletes the alarm after execution, but could it be made to not delete, or be automated to set them up.

Save yourself time and headache. Buy a clock (Altronix for example) and tone generator and set it up directly on the amplifier. Can you do it with VMPro? Maybe. But by the time you have it perfected, you'll have many many hours of time invested...
