Hi all,

We have RS6000 in Brussels and we had previously TZ=NFT-1DFT. It means Norway/France (CUT+1). Each year, it failed to go from winter to summer (CUT +2). I would like to be sure to have selected the correct TZ variable to be in Brussels GMT+1 with +1 hour each last sunday of march and -1 hour each last sunday of october. I put TZ=NFT-1DFT+01:00:00,M3.5.0,M10.5.0. Should it be +2:00:00 ?
And what about the day ? How to set sunday morning ?

Any help welcome

Thanks!

Hi,
here in Zurich we have the same TZ so I set all my systems
to the following TZ:

TZ=NFT-1DFT-2,M3.5.0,M10.5.0

Thanks a lot!

But will it change the time last week of march and october ?
How can I set the day ?

It will set the day by virtue of the M3.5.0 and M10.5.0.

M3.5.0 , means month 3 ( March ), Week 5 ( last week of month ) , Day 0 ( Sunday ). The default time is 02:00, but this could be set explicitly by setting it at M3.5.0/02:0 and M10.5.0/02:00

So yes, this format will ensure that it goes forward on the last sunday of march and back on the last sunday of october
