Hi

Now I am sure this has been covered before but I have tried searching and haven't found the answer.

I have Access set up to linked tables via ODBC - one of the fileds holds time value that I require, however it holds it as a number but it isn't the decimalisation of the time i.e. it holds the right value of hours and minutes but Access doesn't see it as time value.

Entries are like this:

0
11.3
9.45
9.15
11.3
11.3
9.15
11.3
9.15
9.15
8

standing for 11 hours 30 mins , 9 hours 15 mins, 8 hours zero minutes etc.

Any idea how to get Access seeing it as a time value without changing the values?

Any help would be appreciated and apologies if this is soooo simple that you wonder if I know how to use a mouse [ponder]

Take a look at the TimeSerial function

Hope This Helps, PH.
