I have a Windows XP machine on my network and it keeps sinking its time with a time server on our network. Is there a way to tell Windows XP to NOT sync its time with any timeclocks on the network or internet?
1) Double-click on the time in the Notification Area (or open the Date and Time applet in the Control Panel) and remove the tick on the 'Internet Time' tab.
2) Enter 'services.msc' in the 'Start > Run' dialog, scroll down to 'Windows Time', stop the service and change its properties to 'Disabled'.
