I was recently informed that effective 1/1/2013, 250 and 350's would no longer be able to provide any envelope or time stamp info. Has anyone heard of this?

Yes i have and it is true that on that date (i need to verify the day) it will not be able to keep the right date.

one thing that you can do is set it to a year that have the same days as the current on and everything but the year will be correct.

The Aria software is unable to announce the year 2013. This only comes into play when listening to the envelope information of a messgae that was recorded in 2013 and played back in 2014 or later. That's all the ill side effects for 2013.

Fast forward to November 24, 2015 20:15 local time. This is when the software will be severely affected as the timestamp field has reached its upper limit. Yes, we run out of time!

Suggest changing, anytime during 2013, ONLY the year to 1986 as that year is the earliest year that has the identical day-of-month and day-of-week mapping to 2013 and matches exactly. Then only the year will be different and you will have the longest period until you have to change the year back again.

Refer to PSN003385u if you want proof from the OEM.

And really who uses the date and time anyway. I know some do but if you want to keep the Octel just reset the year. It will keep running for years.
