Hi,
Please clarify this doubt
When Time stamp error -818 will come and how to resolve it in cobol db2 program. Please let me know how to fix this problem if i get -818 problem.

Thanks
Venkat

This is an indication that the load module and package did not originate from the same precompile step.

Check:-

Did you bind the correct DBRM member?

Have you bound in the correct DB2 sub-system?

Are you running with the correct load library?

You should check each step of the compile/bind job, and then check the job that runs the offending program.

Mick

hi,
I have a problem as you have...
I try to find out the reason from db2 manual..
I find out the reason...

environment
-------------------------
middle ware : TMAX
language : C
server : sun OS 5.8
-------------------------

DB2 has syscat.packagedep which is system table.
It contains packages...

Be careful, if you bind a package to db2.
The size of packagename(column pkgname) less than 8 characters...

I hope it helps you..

Have good day!!

can anyone please tell me how to run tso commands to access db2 database in mvs operating system?

vsachin,

don't you have something like SPUFI, or am I not understanding the question correctly.

Thanks
Greg

May not be exactly what you are looking for, but just in case you find it helpful ..

If you do not want to use SPUFI, may be you can use batch-spufi ...
