Hi All,

Having a strange issue that just start on the first of this month. My IPO is failing to get a response from the Time server. The server is a local Domain controller in the same network room as the IPO. Since all in internal, there isn't a firewall issue, and I have it's IP listed instead of the FQDN, so DNS shouldn't be an issue. No issues pinging the IPO from the DC. Time Zone, Local time offset from UTC & Auto DST are set as well (same as the rest of my IPO's) and yet it failed to get a response.

System Status shows the correct IP address, but the alerts I'm seeing are telling me "No response from Time Server. Last polled address: 0.0.0.0"

IPO Build is 10.1.0.1.0 Build 3.

Has anyone see something like this before?

i think I had this happen with a 500v2, upon rebooting it was able to get it, not sure why

So I've rebooted the entire system, still no joy...

Still getting the alert - "No response from Time Server. Last polled address: 0.0.0.0

'When in doubt, rip it out.' I have found a lot of quirky behavour can be fixed by deleting the information, save the config, open it back up and redo it. Ususally anything to do with an IP address will be best off with a save and reboot versus a merge. Or you could try a broadcast, 255.255.255.255 in the address.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

Hi Budbyrd,

I've given that a try, without any luck, I've also restarted the DHCP services on the time server, but still not working. I plan on a complete reboot of the time server itself, but not sure if that will really help or not.

I always use an external time server (sntp.xs4all.nl)

Works like a charm.

If we were to switch to an external source, IP routes would need to be setup as well as changes to our Firewall to allow it. The internal has been working great until the beginning of the month...
