time profiles embedded vmail

hey guys,

just a quick question...

have 406v2 5.0.22 with embedded vamil. need to set up the following...


during the hours of 8-5 the calls come in to the main hunt group. after 5 without pushing any buttons...how do i set the ip office up to go to auto attendant

i have a time profile with the days of the week ticked. start time 8am end time is 5pm. after 5 it still rings the main hunt group phones.

any help would be great!

Your start time should be 5pm, your end time should be 8am (you will need multiple times to accomplish-5pm-12am, 12am-8am). Then, insert that time profile for the attendant. Under incoming call route, insert that time profile with the destination of the attendant.

You need to make it 17:00 to 23:59 then 00:00 to 0800 on the days you want it to go the attnedant after hours, for all weekend make Sat and Sun 00:00 to 23:59. Apply this to the Incoming call route and select the destination against the profile as the attendant/shortcode

In fact make it 00:00 to 07:59, as 0759 and 59 secs is basically 0800 if the profile is 0800 it will not go off until it ticks over to 08:01 (essentially 1 min late)

Also ensure you do not set it to 17:00 to 00:00 (instead of 17:00 to 23:59) for the evening part as this will be ignored if you do (found out the hard way with a typo).
