Hi all,

I'm hoping to get assistance with a Time Profile not starting on specified time (or at all).

I have an ICR for a DID setup. The Default setting is going to the MAIN hunt group with 4 users in it. I have a Time Profile programmed for Mon-Fri (Start)5pm (End) 8:30am and Sat&Sun (start)12am (End)11:59pm. I have assigned the Time Profile to the first line below the Default line under ICR. The Destination is another HG with 5 users in it. When 5pm arives the Time Profile does not start. In fact when I manually change the time of the IPO (to say 11pm)it still is not working. It just keeps ringing the users in the MAIN HG.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Derek

You can't cover 2 days with a time profile, which makes sense if you think about it. So either use open hours for the profile and swap the destinations accordingly or do it until 23:59 then another from 00:00 :)

use the negative way, set the default target to the night target and then make the opening hours 8:30am to 5pm on Mo-Fri and set the day target with it, Sat and Sun you just leave out as it needs to go to the night target anyways.

Agree with Westi. For a days of the week/hours of the day time profile its much easier to use the time profile to define when a route should be used, ie. normal hours, and have the default be the outside profile hours destination.

If you also want calendar date exceptions then they just have to be added with the same destination as the default route.

And when using several time profiles in an ICR, they are read from the bottom up and the first one that is currently true is used.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thanks guys. I was just about to reply to the thread asking if the 5pm to 8:30am time setting was messing it up. So if the time profile is incorrect the IPO will just bypass it?

it doesn't do time profiles that go over midnight easily.
you have to setup basically the morning and the afternoon separately if you want to go that way.
set one to go from Midnight to 8:30am Mo - Fri
the second entry would be 5pm to midnight Mo- Fri but it is so much easier the other way :)

Put a screenshot here with your setup maybe we see something
