Time problem

Electra:

Customer reporting that on their display phones the time and date are correct but when they listen their voice mail messages the time is off by 1 hour and 40 mins.

Any suggestions?

On most NEC systems the VM and PBX time is set separately.

The AD8 is also notorious for clock drift!

I work on Nortel most of the time. Can you advise me of hwo to change both platform?

assuming it is an ICS, IVS, IVS2 or IPS then Pabx time setting is command 02 (if you haven't got a command manual then visit

IVS manual is good for IVS & ICS, IVS2 manual is good for IVS2 & IPS however there are some newer commands on the IPS but the manual is not freely available). For the AD8 you either need Cosessions to talk to it or you can do it from a system administrators mailbox accessed from a phone. Just follow the prompts (you can google ths AD8 and there are some user guides out there)
