time off on sets

anyone have this issue?

Problem

81c-P2
Upgraded from 25.40B to 3.0 and now the time is off on phones
ttad: may read 10:53
some sets read the correct time

but
TN 24 0 1 2 is at 10:55
TN 56 0 3 5 is at 11:07
TN 40 0 4 6 is at 10:56

2616's and 3900 sets

firmware uprgaded on 3900 sets

weird!!!

vz.. load 77, turned the lamp audit back on, the next day all sets were back in sync, been over a week without problems

Turned on lamp audit Monday AM and Tuesday PM the time on some 2000 series sets was still drifting. Pulled and reset our new Pentium CPU cards (installed with the 3.0 upgrade) as per Nortel instruction on the 81C Wednesday AM. It is now Thursday 9:00AM EST, time and dates seem to be hanging in there(Fingers crossed). Will post back if time drifts again!

Ld 77 turn on lamp audit- dont let the name lamp audit fool you. I have fixed this many times useing this since rls 25

right jose, i didn't rin into it until rls 3, and nortel said the lamp audit syncs the clock to 2000 series, none of my 3900 drifted

hi, could be your clocking is in free reign rather than slave to the co. The strata 3 clock feeds the DMS which feeds the local switch. Also, you could have a bad clocking card. Perhaps you should also look in ld 60 and check the counters along with statting the cards. AJK

here's a surprise for you, if the master clock was in free run, that has nothing to do with the time clock, even when your clocking off of the co, the co doesn't set the time and date in the switch or perform station updates..

I don't see patch available MPLR17694 for X21 03.00.

It is available for 25.40 but says the problem is fixed on 3.00.
Maybe it didn't get fixed enough.

mine was drifting, some sets a hour a day. started about 3 months after upgrade, had 200 trouble reports by noon. nortel said go to load 77 and enable lamp audit, DLMP 0, that cleared mine within 24 hours. tech support said leave the tic open for 48 hours and call back if it happened again. no reports since the "fix"

btw: you can dis the phone or the card or the controller or the xpe and enable it and resync the phone.. i did a few that way, waiting for nortel to call back
