I have a DID number that is setup as a MCR on multiple phones in a small NOC in our office. They have now decided that they want to forward those calls from that DID number to Kuala Lumpur. 3 nights a week from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. I've told them they can do it manually from one of the phones setup in the department that CFXA.

What they want is to have the PBX do the call forwarding automatically. Any suggestions from anyone out there ? Time of day routing perhaps and will this change in any way the setup of that main DID number during normal business hours.

Thank you.

There is a way to do this as long as your software is release 19 and greater as a feature called "Call Redirection by Time of Day" was introduced. The MCR that has the MARP set is the phone that the programming is done from.

Call Redirection by Time of Day
When Call Redirection by Time of Day (CRTOD) is enabled and an incoming call reaches a
busy Directory Number, the time is checked against the Alternate Redirection Time Option
range defined on the telephone

Call Redirection by Time of Day
If Call Forward by Call Type (CFCT) is enabled with Call Forward No Answer (CFNA) and Call
Redirection by Time of Day (CRTOD), unanswered internal calls receiving CFNA are routed
to the Flexible CFNA DN, Hunt DN, Alternate Flexible CFNA DN or Alternate Hunt DNs.
External calls are routed in the same manner.
If CFNA is enabled with Hunting by Call Type and Call Redirection by Time of Day (CRTOD),
unanswered internal calls are redirected to the Hunt DN or Alternate Hunt DN during the
alternative time. External calls are routed in the same manner. The alternate time is defined
on the called DN's data block.

I recall that most of the programming is done in LD 15 under RDR.
