I have an MICS 6.1 with Flash VM 2.0.10. It has a PRI for incoming calls during the day and these calls call forward to a hunt group. Is there a way to automate sending calls directly to VM on several phones (each has its own individual Voice Mailbox not AA) after a certain time and have it go back to forwarding to a huntgroup at a certain time in the morning. I have played with ringing service to no luck.

Are you talking individual DID's or one main incoming number. It sounds like you could use Ringing Service, but need more facts.

The individual DID's appear and ring only on 3 individual phones...say x4001,4002,4003 and the DID #s match the ext. During the day they forward on no answer after 4 rings to a huntgroup 2707 that rings only on several admin phones. After hours, I want these phone to go after 4 rings to their mailboxes. The best way would be to make the huntgroup forward to VM (x4400) after hours, but I realize that a huntgroup can't be used in the ringing service. Could I use some phantom DN that would have the DIDs ring on and roll to VM and use it as part of the ringing service. Since the port numbers on the original sets would be lower would it send them to the proper VM for the individual DID #s?

If you had a Call Pilot we could use Express Messaging Line to guarrantee the DIDs got to the correct mailbox and Ringing Service to send them to Vmail b4 the CFNA to hunt group. But, if you do that with the Flash, they'll get GD.

All I can think of is Ftr 4 to vmail each of the DNs at night. Not very automated, maybe someone else will have a better idea.

I like the simple solution. Have users cf to vm when they leave. If I understand your application, though, the hunt group backs up individuals when they're out during office hours.

That is more or less correct- during the day they want the call answered by someone not voice mail; I have already more or less implemented the F984 to VM after hours, but was looking for some way to automate (take out the chance for human error). Thanks

To Deweyhumbolt about switching to a CP. I could switch to a CP 3.0 that I have(it's not a cost thing) ...explain the express messaging line theory to me. I don't see anything in the documentation for the CP about it.

You enter the Target Line # of the individual DID in the Mbox programming. So, when the DID goes to the Vmail DN by Service Mode in front of the Forward to Hunt Group, the Vmail sends it to the correct Mbox and not the GD. It reads the DNIS digits and knows where to send it.

I finally did find info on the express msg line it states-
Express Messaging Line
When you create a Subscriber mailbox, you can assign an Express Messaging Line to it. Instead of assigning an extension number to the Subscriber mailbox, assign an Express Messaging Line. If you assign an Express Messaging Line, voice calls are left in the Subscriber Mailbox without ringing at the set. Inform the subscriber that they should frequently check their mailbox for messages because they do not receive Message Waiting Notification.

This means that they would not get MWI on their phone?

I don't know where you got that. It does what I said it does and you will get MWI. I guess that's saying that you can build a Guest Mbox and send the call to the phantom DN w/o Ftr986. Never tried.
