It there any way I can automate capture using my still digital camera and ImageReady 7 or any other adobe product. I am attempting to make a 24 hr time lapse movie. Capturing one shot every twenty seconds. I am aware some cameras do come with software for this purpose. I have a HP Photosmart 735 and I have checked with HP and they say they have no plans for such software.

Is that a dv camera or a stills?
I only ask, because in 24 hours you will end up with over 4000 images (4320), so you will have to be able to transfer these images after you've taken so many or have one hell of a memory.
As far as i'm aware imageready (and photoshop), is just an editing app, and does not send that sort of data to the camera.
It sounds like you need some other 3rd party software to do what you want.

It is a still camera i am using .i have been able to do it using my DV camera & a program called stop motion pro 4 .but i am not happy with the quality. I have 200 gig to play with so storage should be OK to a point. I use Adobe premier pro for my video editing and it can’t help. Surely i am not the first person in the world to try this. I am aware some camera manufactures supply such software with there cameras but HP don’t. Sods law.

Do a search in download.com for time lapse photography. I found some the first search. They should be free to try, and see if its what you need.
