When I try to login on my laptop I get the message that I can't logon because:

There is a time difference between the cleint and server.

Fine, so I just reset the system time. But by group policy changing the system time is only allowed to administrators of the domain - I can't do that logged on to the machine only.

I changed the group policy, but as I'm not logged onto the domain, I don't pick it up. I've tried secedit.

Tried readding the computer to the domain.

Anyone know how to reset the system time from the server for a client?

Bizarrely enough, the time seems to be correct, but the date is a whole month out. Would that be the problem, and how can I reset that?

Nope, didn't try that because I'm too dense for words.

Or I could have tried undocking my laptop and doing it offline.

Ended up running sysprep...
