Is there a reason that the time and date on the digital 2410 sets will not display on an IPO 403 version 3.2 (61) system? Is there an option for this? All 5 sets are showing no time and date. Thank you

Add a time & date key to the handset
this will enable the user to switch the feature on & off (it is of by default)

This worked to turn on the time and date and then I changed the button back to what it was originally programmed as and the time and date stayed on the display. The only strange thing is the the name and the user extension number now no longer displays.

It is either one of them or buy 1400 sets and a IPO 500v2 and some licenses and some valium

I've never understood the need for names on handsets really, don't people know their own name? :)

R3.2 ahh the good old days.
The display can only do extension number / name or the time and date but not both.
On R9.1 my 2410 displays all of it.
underneath the separator line is on the left the name and underneath is the extension number, on the right hand side is time and date on the bottom line. You might want to invest in new hardware and firmware and get all the features.

This is just a little office with 5 handsets and 4 analog lines. They don't even use the intercoms and they use only phone company voice mail.. After I rebooted it it went back to the use name and extension number. I just thought it would be better to have the time and date instead of the user name and ext. number.

That's where a good engineer guides their needs and influences their decisions based on their own experience and best practices based on the systems capabilities and optimum configuration for a given scenario.
If our customers got what they initially asked for they may as well have bought a Panasonic key system, they're much happier and more productive now with our guidance :)
