Hi i have 02 sites having 11c rls 5 and 61c rls 4.5 with QSIG license. I am connecting these both sites using CISCO router,Both sites CXISCO router have E1 card installed. Both Nortel PBX have set SIDE=NET/CISCO is seet as SLAVE.AT both sites TIE DCH and PRI is up and CDP are also configured. When i dial any ext across site lets say 4XXX i get dial tone and few milisecond call goes through. I dont know why i am getting PBX tone before call getting through, DLTN=NO in ESN, I also tried FLEN settings but still get dialtone after dialing 4XXX etc..and then call goes through. WHen i dial # call instantly goes through.I checked different CDP lenth/FLEN but still gets dialtone after dialing and then call goes through. Its happening across both sites, when i dial TIE route access code and then no following # i also gets through. When i dial throug CDP i get dialtone first and then call goes through. What i am missing, i dont know. Can somebody help in this??
Regards

So 4 is a ACOD? or an AC2, or the beginning of a DSC?

Exactly what is the digit string you are dialing; and then can you print a DNB of the first digit you dial, and then print whatever it is (IE, DSC, etc)

Thanks,
Matthew

It is programmed as DSC, I also tried DSC=4 and DSC=4xxx (4 digit ext) with different FLEN/NCDP settings but still same.
I dont know why tone heard before call gets OK. It sounds nortel PBX tone but shud it be CISCO tone also??

Here u go, I am only mentioning the required/important prompts.

RLI 1
------
ENTR=0
LTER=NO
ROUTE=1
FRL=0
DMI=1-->has no insertion/deletion
MFRL=0

CDP
----
DSC=4xxx
FLEN=4--->i also tried different values
RLI=1

Please not that with accesscode+ext# call instantly goes through but with CDP i when i dial 4xxx i get dial one for 4 second then call goes through, however when i dial 4xxx# call instantly goes through.
On CISCO trace of both router 4xxx shows instantly as i dial but it takes time to mature call with other nortel pbx and vice vers.
Other site CDP=3xxx.

Anymore help??

Can you print the entire ESN data block, and that entire RDB? also the entire RLI please.

Thanks,
Matthew

Here is data requested
(I have also a DTI tie setup working on this site and have
no dialing issue)This TIE setup is using CISCO Router with E1 card at bot sites. I dont know why pressing # makes calls OK even if i tried different FLEN,

Could it be that the cisco router is giving you the dial tone while it is setting up the second half of the call? You might look into that and see if the programming is inserting a "pause" or "wait for dial tone" option before sending the digits to the second PBX ....

Hi all, udate on this. I disconnected CISCO router (2800 series) and connected both PBX with E1 link and there is no delay. The other site CISCO router is waiting to start handshaking with Noortel PBX and vice versa. When i dial # with dial digit then there is no delay and other router start sending digits to nortel PBX, i tried to insert # throu DMI but it doesnt working neither it show # in DMI when i take print of DMI. Is there any possibility to insert # through DMI (as it was not showing # in print out) or is there any settings in router to insert # with every 4 digit number.
Regards

look at the route.dltn, provides dialtone when the route is accessed from the far end.. DLTN=NO in ESN, stops dialtone post ac only
