TIE Qsig PRI between Nortel CS1000s and Panasonic TD500

Hello,

I have set up a TIE Qsig PRI between Nortel CS1000s and Panasonic TD500 and it is working fine but i am not able to receive or to send the extension name, i.e. the name is not being displayed on panasonic and nortel sets when the TIE connection is established

Note: the DN is being displayed properly

then look at the far end.. maybe IFC ESIG to IFC ISIG, your trying to send names external.. by making it internal, nortel will send the names... by fed mandate we can't send name updates to the ss7 table so sending names to an external route is almost impossible with any switch.. mark the route internal and names will go.. if the far end is not pstn the name will show

The other side does not support ISIG, so it is ESIG... furthermore, i set my rout to internal but still no name

has the other side ever been able to get there box to work. isig is the same software except it;s used between two boxes on a route not shared via the pstn... if i set my type to esig i see the acod from the cisco just like my ld carrier... and it's a non pri... not scheduled for an upgrade untill next summer... 46 t1's to the pstn and we have two non pri;s left... not bad for a small site
