I need some assistance I am doing a tie between a Nortel Option 11c Box and a IP 500 via a T1 I am able to dial Extensions across both systems but I am having a difficulty in accessing the trunks on the Avaya to dial outside.. I am seeing the digits coming in but not routing to the destination.... Please advise.

couple of points.. what are you dialing, and how is that routed..

if i dial 9 plus and 9 is ac1, then my rlb would need a dgt to insert the 9 and put the call on the tie.. then the avaya would treat that call as if it were an analog dialing 9 plus.. the avaya side would have to allow trunk to trunk.. if you dialing acod plus then ld 49 nfrl could be the block... we also need when you get the busy.. or recording..

you post that you can see the numbers coming in.. coming in to the avaya? ie from the nortel... if that is the case i would look at the avaya forum for a solution.. iF the nortel is sending the correct digits, the only problem that you could look at would be call type (ld 86 rlb)
