Hi,

I have the following problem:
Our main TDE600 has some public VOIP Trunks, a PRI Trunk and some old fashion co trunks on a ELCOT16. In a remote location (connected via VPN) we have a TDE100 with a DSP16. I tied both system together with the virtual IP Gateway card.
This works so far. The TDE600 has the extension 2xx, 4xx, 5xx and 6xx, the TDE100 has the 7xx extension. From the TDE600 I can call any 7xx extension on the TDE100 with just dialing the 3 digit extension number. The other way around works too. I can call any TDE600 extension from the TDE100 just with dialing the extension number.
Now I would like to access the different trunk lines of the TDE600 from the TDE100, but I can't get it to work. I would like to do a TIE-to-CO Line Access over the extension number code. How to I need to setup the system?
My settings:
TDE600:
- the trunk groups are getting access via the digit 3 (307 is the ip-gw, 310 is ELCOT16 group, 320 is a voip trunk)
TDE100:
- the trunk groups are getting access via the digit 3 (307 is the ip-gw of the TDE100).
I thought I just dial on the TDE100 307 for the gateway and then 310 for the ELCOT16 trunk of the TDE600 and then my phone number. After accessing the IPGW trunk and dialing the 3 (for 310) I get a rejected beep. I believe I have all trunks on the same COS and I allow Transfer to CO. What could be wrong?

Thanks for your help

Norbert

this is all down to number plan, if the gateway or system is using a lead number on one side and you want to route to the other side it will not work. if you dial 307 on the gateway card the route has to be sent to the correct system IP to get to it

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure how to program the TDE100 so that it can access the tde600 trunks.

There is a bit of programming in both systems for routing and class of service for the co group. Before you do anything take a backup of both systems

Not something I would like to talk you through on a forum you would be advised to get someone in or to do on a remote session with you
