Tick sound in tda series

Anyone now what is the source of ticks sound in tda series.. Please if Anyone can explain why the ticks happen and what it is reffer to as general info in this thread.

I mean the normal ticks when pbx send or recive call. I hear ticks when pbx recive call..

There probably clicks the ringing generator relay.

Thanks Mr Ired appreciat your help and experience.. In addition to this do you know how i can format the sd card in kx-ns500, i see one option about sd card state but i couldnt find any option to format sd card.

SD cards have ext3 format (OS Linux).

No.. No mr ired sorry but i mean to delete all info in sd card that what i mean by formating not what sd format by meaning..
I.e i didnt find any option or selection in web console that make me delete all sd card file.. Or restore the factory default for it..

The sd card has VM and Queuing operating system on it, if you format it, it will stop working. I also believe there is a key on the card to allow it to work as so you can’t jus clone the card on a standard SD card

Main thing on the card that you can delete is recordings, you can set class of service to delete recordings after x amount of days to keep it clear

Thanks mr obtsystem.. Oh.. so there is noway to format sd card in kx-ns500..? Does formating deleted this key that you talk about.? or just like any sd card will return blank.

I never did it so I can’t say. But you will loose the vm operation software on the card
