Tick Box Form Field in Word 1

I know how to set up a form check box but would prefer a tick rather than a cross (by default) - any suggestions?

Hi taff36,

I don't think you can change the behaviour of the Form Checkbox, but depending on what you are doing you might be able to use a CheckBox from the Control Toolbx which does have a tick.

Okay so I've found the tick box, but how do you allow some one else to "tick" it??

Tools > Protect Document > Protect for Forms.

Document must be protected for forms for the form control to work.
