Hi There,
I know in xp pro one can change the view; list, details, thumbnails, etc... And in the “save as” window is where I need the view to be in the thumbnail view every time I go to the save as window. Instead of one having to select thumbnails every time one needs to save some thing and/or open some thing.
This is very important in my line of work to have the view as thumbnails. Plus it is quicker and easier then any other view in my case. I lost my information on how to go into the registry and write what is necessary. Not only did this information explain how to save the view as thumbnails but also select and maintain any size you wanted.
When one goes to the save as window the view maintains the "thumbnail" view after writing some thing in the registry. At this time I can only guess how. Sure it is common knowledge that you can apply to all files and folders. But this function does not apply to what I am asking it to do. I know it works because I worked with a pc for a few months before I lost this function after reformatting. It sure would be nice if anyone knows how.
Thank You Very Much
