thumbnail view not working after installing office 2003

After installing office 2003, when I open a folder in windows explorer, the thumbnail view no longer shows me thumbnails of my images (I only see the same icon for each file). How can I fix this?

What broke it was installing office 2003, which removed office 2002 (including the Microsoft photoeditor application that was associated with .gif/.jpg)

Maybe this command will correct it :
regsvr32.exe /i shdocvw.dll

If that doesn't work try reinstalling IE.
