Is there a way through MATWorX 3.61 to check for such things as DND that’s possibly activated on a phone, and if so cancel it?

I get calls all the time about extensions that appear to be on Do Not Disturb and nobody around to check the phone. That’s why I was wondering if there’s a way for me to dial in and cancel DND on a phone that has it activated, without making someone in the building go to the phone and press “#8” to cancel.

Thanks Again Guys For All Your Help!

MATWorX doesn't have the ability to display if a phone is in DND.

Even in MOC Terminal there's no way to cancel DND on a phone unless you're at the phone?

Thanks for your reply NEAX

Check and see if you have another code similar to the DND access code.
I had a problem with users dialing our paging system "81". They would dial "*81" instead of just "81". This would turn on DND and then I would get complaints about the phone not working. I changed the code for DND from *8 to *3.

If you have a DSS console on the system, set up a mode change button and a DND button this will allow you to toggle between normal function, MW function and DND function.
When DSS is in DND mode any station in DND will be lit, depress the key, lamp goes out and DND is canceled.

Nice solution, I like that! Probably a little more complicated than my limited knowledge of phone systems will allow me to attempt right now however, after a little NEC training... Thanks SCLB
