If you're using IP handsets and allowing your primary server to backup your remote locations, you might try allowing the system to automatically assign the location via IP subnet. If your phones fallback to the primary server, their location information will remain intact. Of course, as with so many other things like this, all locations would need to be programmed at the solution level.
