Needed Assistance Anybody,

I have a IP500v2 Rel 8.0(36) which i recently upgrade. i have 2 combo card in this system. i have 1416 Telset already installed and working. i am trying to install another one but it downloads the firmware up to 77kb and stops saying FW failed, Invalid Image..I am poining TFTP,Http to SD card..i have tried so many option but unsuccesful.Needed help urgently anybody!

I have seen this on several combo cards, if one of the cards upgrades ok then reboot and upgrade using that card, otherwise you will need another card/system to use to upgrade the phone. I had to use a DS8 on more than one occasion as the combo wouldn't work

I see! I have the working 1416 installed on the first Combo Card and the one i am trying to install is on the second Combo. So if i have to try this on the first combo card, i have to reboot the system first, then plug in the 1416 telset to download firmware?

Yes, unplug the first phone, reboot it, and then plug the other phone in to upgrade it.

So i remove the current working 1416 installed, reboot the system and when the system is back to normal, i plug in the other 1416 phone, is that the correct procedure?

You only need to reboot if the port on the first card you are connecting to has already been used to upgrade a handset, if it hasn't just plug into it, if it has or you are not sure just reboot then plug the handset in...it doesn't matter at which point you unplug the other handset, just whenever
