My computer stays to slow when i'm tranfering any kind of data from the internet to my pc anyone knows how to solve this?

I had windows 98 with that my internet worked fine but windows me it cames that problem, anyone with other solutions?

Go back to Windows 98.
Until the modem manufacturers release "official" windows ME drivers, some modems just won't work with the generic ME ones or the older Win98 ones. I don't have ME but did you check your modem's properties to make sure it is not set to 300 instead of 56k? Or did you check the "receiving buffer" is set accordingly?

These are my only suggestions. [sig]

English is too hard to learn, the vowles change too much like come/home, comb/tomb, book/school, high/bye/sty, etc., etc. So should I say Geez or Sheez or Cheeze? hehe.[/sig]

Hey, as long as your not using NT or 2000, get MTUSpeed from Tucows. Set 576 as your speed and you'll notice a MARKED IMPROVEMENT! [sig][/sig]
