I observed lately that my system is slower and slower
I have XP SP2 legally bought, and I do not have any viruses or adware.
I have Norton Antivirus 2005
Any ideea?
Thanks

How does it run if any real time scanning is set for default files instead of possibly all files, but do leave any "On Demand" scanning set for all files, however.

FAQ779-4784 may help.

windows XP running very slow

Norton Antivirus 2005 is fine for viruses, worms, and trojans. But it does nothing to address the multitude of spyware/adware out there. Try downloading Adaware SE and also Spybot. You need at least 2 anti-spyware programs to keep your pc protected since none of them catch everything. If you currently don't have any anti-spyware programs running, then odds are you probably have spyware or adware which can definitely slow down your pc.
