I am evaluating MetaFrame XPe. I have installed Evaluating MF XPe version. In order to solve problems with the Resource Manager installation I had to install SP1. But now one of the servers in the farm is not accessible. When I try to connect the server using a user a get allways the same error message: "The system has reached the its licensed logon limit. Please try later". When I check this server I have seen that I have not the "No-pooled connection for MetaFrame XPe 1.0 English for Windows-Evaluation 99 User" license. I can only connect the server with the administrator user.
The other server is working properly.

Any idea?

thanks in advance

The 99-user evaluation product cannot pool licenses. If you want to evaluate more than one server for load balancing for example you need to obtain a second evaluation license.

When you install SP1 for XP it automatically installs Feature Release 1.
To be able to use Feature Release you need to have both server license and connection licens codes to add the server farm, otherwise ICA connections will be refused.
For evaluation you can not test the FR1 features.
Right click your server and check which FR level the server has. (For eval it should be "none")

SP1 is still installed but the extra features are not enabled. To be able to enable them you need both server and connection licenses.

Hope to have helped somewhat..
:)
