The standby option under Windows XP Professional is inactive under Shu

Hello Everybody.
The problem that i am facing is:

The standby option under Windows XP Professional is inactive under Shut Down.

Tell me the resolution of this ..

Check your power options in Control Panel. Is is set to never standby?
