Hello ,

WE ARE USING "WINFIOL-MD110 SYSTEM"

We are facing a problem when communicating or receiving international calls, the sound level is very lowوalmost can not hear anything.

please advise me to solve this issue.

Thanks

sorry for delay reply ,

we are using TLU83

Thanks

No problem with delayed reply as long as you do reply[smile]
I just wanted to check that you have the maximum gain in the hardware which you do. TLU83 is a programmable board and digit 7 of VARC is 2 which sets the board for long line i.e. maximum gain. No improvements to be made there.

As snor already said, you already have the maximum gain in the trasmission matrix in SCP. However you have given the LSCOP for an OPI call the level for which is controlled by MPP as I recall. Is it just operator calls which are low or is it extension calls too? If extension calls are low too, can you please do an LSCOP for that call case.

oK, there is no problem between extensions.

The problem occurs when you make or receive a call from a cell phone(extensions and operator).

can you please do an LSCOP for that call case? CAN YOU PLEASE QUIDE ME ??

thanks

As inlsp05 stated, the problem is with the service provider, not MD. You cannot get the gain you want with TRM, sacos, lsati or whatever....

What I meant was make a call from a cell phone to an extension so that the transmission level is poor, then do an LSCOP as you did before with the call set up so that we can see what the actual value of attenuation is.

Hi activenew,
sorry, I miscounted from your SACOP in SCP. You have 0dB in both directions at present, so you can improve the situation by adding gain as I mentioned earlier. The TRM value is 7 on the trunks, you can improve this by doing ROCAC:ROU=x,TRM=4;

For a 2wire analogue public trunk, this is the correct setting anyway as mentioned by snor earlier.

The change to TRM will not change established calls so you must make a new test call afterwards and check with LSCOP.
The values in your SACOP look suspiciously like it has already been adjusted in the past as it is not normal to see that many zeros in the matrix.

Thank guys for support

Hi activenew, you need to make a test call to the public trunk with the call case which has low level i.e. cellphone or international. With the call still connected do CTDEI:DIR=xxxx; and LSCOP:LIM=1;

Also note if the connection level is any better.

thank you himdp,

So maybe you washed your ears? There is no change in the attn according to your printout. Note that if you raise the gain with 3dB, the difference is very small for a human ear. In practice, you can raise the gain with 9dB max in the MD, the rest is just a number. But as you wish, keep changing TRM, but the result is not going to satisfy you.
What about the level if you call back thru the trunk to yourself? (MD-SP-MD). Or make a loopback from TLU83 to an extension board an try this way. Is the board OK?

Thank you for advise ,

I will try to do your suggestion ,i will feedback the result.

Thank you for all
