Hi!
Recently my server computer (Win2000Srv) has a strange error and no one can find the cause. In the even log we have hundreds of warnings with the following text:

EventID: 2021
Source: Srv
Type: Warning
Category: None
The server was unable to allocate a work 100 times in the last 60 seconds.

The # of times is diffrent from message to message.
It appears several times a minute, during all day. It stops for a while after a reboot. The most recently hardware change on the server is one of the hard disks (added a few weeks ago), but the problem only started last week.
Sometimes it slows down the server and users can't work at all.

From time to time another message appears:
EventID: 2510
Source: Server
Type: Error
Category: None
The server service was unable to map error code 1722.

I have no idea if the messages are related.

Anyone has an idea of what the problem might be?

The reg hack in that link worked for me. I only saw this problem pre-SP2...do you have SP2 or 3 on the server?
