The Semaphore timeout period has expired

Hi,

Whenever backing up, I seem to get this error:

Storage device "SONY 1" reported an error on a request to read data from media.

Error reported:
The semaphore timeout period has expired.
^^^^^

Can Anyone Help?

In my case I just update the latest driver of SCSI driver and set SCSI parity checking to OFF at SCSI setup.

I tried to Re-Install the SCSI Driver, with the latest version, but this just disabled the Device.

It hadly backed up anything. But with the original driver re-installed it backs up everything just returns a failed status reading data from the media?

I dont know what else to try?

Anyone?
