Hi All,

Has anybody come across this error. While migrating the docs from LiveLink to LiveLink I got this error.

The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to.

In what situation it may occur.?

which a/c does this refer to ? there are a few settings on the Admin pages which can lock accounts out after a set number of invalid login attempts, also if you are using SSO, then your Directory could be the issue as well.

If I am using new SSO then What are the problem may be in Directory. Could you explain it clearly.

The issue usually happens when a user account is locked out - usually due to a number of failed login attempts for example.

This can happen on the Livelink side, with the number of failed attempts configured on the Admin pages, and will uncheck the Login Enabled checkbox in the user profile page in Users & Groups (?func=user.listusers).

In another case, if using SSO, then the account is managed via the relevant Directory, commonly Active Directory (AD), and after a number of failed logins the account can be locked out there as well / instead.
