Simple question - when is the "-d" flag supported on the sar command on AIX machines? I'm supporting a product where we use this command internally (sar -d 5) and lots of customers with AIX are complaining that this does not run on their boxes. On my 4.3.2 and 5.1 boxes, it works just fine.

Kernel patch level issue??

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Hi
Therockdoctor.
I have two rs/6000 machines that run oslevel 4.3.2.0 and oslevel 4.3.3.0 respectively. I found that sar -d option is not supported on 4.3.2.0 but supported on 4.3.3.0,you say that you can use sar -d on your 4.3.2 level, maybe your oslevel is higher than 4.3.2.0 or some patch is needed below 4.3.2.0 .
