We have a commercial here from Microsoft that says:
“Keeps on running” in a song

Then they say that window’s XP and Office XP will keep on running even when infected by a virus.

This looks like a challenge to me.
In my imagination I see certain virus programmers grinning.

Question:
Which viruses will they produce and what will they do to the system?
Is it time to learn a real profession after al?

I hope this is enough for a few good laughs.

Regards Gregor.

c0i0nes, you forgot: Don’t fix is when it is not broken.

"errors have to be backward compatible" never thought about that although I encountered the problem myself!?

This means when you program a large system with little care about quality, even with updates, you can only get the errors out with enormous costs which are in no proportion to the profits you will gain from it.

Conclusion: These bugs are there to stay.

So Jad, from now on I will have no more idle hopes about that.

I should say thanks now.
Thanks Jad.

Sob.

Thank you gregorweertman. I also forgot:
"This is intentionally broken: Fix it at your own peril!"

The MS philosophy is
This is intentionally broken, so that you will be dependant on us, and will pay us to fix it, and then pay us to upgrade to the next version, which is also broken. so that you will be dependant ... Good Luck

I remember an earlier Microsoft Advert, which went something like:

"I'll be home early tonight, Darling - I'm using Microsoft Software!"

So damn true - everything was broken, crashed, unredeemable, so we went home early! ROFLMAO
