So we have Avaya IP office 500 with BRI 8U / VRM32 /DS extension cards installed... Connection with outer world powered with two ISDN lines (they connected to the first and third port of BRI card), each line represent two external phone numbers (by MSN). All working good, but sometimes trunk (or both of them) became "out of service", without any noticeable consistent pattern...

Sorry for unprofessional description of problem, but i am newbie in this area. Ofc i'll provide any required information, now i simply don't know which could be usefull...

Thanks in advance!

Is this in Europe/outside the uk, seems normal for some providers of ISDN 2, so long as calls are not effected I would not worry :)

Yes - this is Europe (Greece)...
My bad - i didn't mention that, when trunks became out of service, it is not possible to call outside, nor recive incoming calls ((
And only thing that helps - it is soft reboot.

Guys, i really need help!
Sometimes trunks working good few days, sometimes they became out of service several times per day... I had tried different ports on BRI card, had changed some line settings with no result.

Open monitor and make some traces.
When it happens then post it here so we can have a look at it.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

just had the same on PRI, it turned out to be a fault at the exchange. Carrier denied it at first but a little persistence had them sort it!
