Hello,
I get this error on my log:

The DNS server was unable to complete directory service enumeration of zone mydomain.com. This DNS server is configured to use information obtained from Active Directory for this zone and is unable to load the zone without it. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly and repeat enumeration of the zone. The event data contains the error.

Any ideas?

is this a domain controller (w/ active directory in other words)?

its trying to use ad integrated zones and cant find active directory

switch your zone to primary..should kill this message

or install ad

yes it is a domain controller, as we only have one server ;^(

i have setup active directory, and i think it is working ok! but just in case how would one check if ad is working?

are you currently using this server for authentication?
are there any other errors in event viewer?

check for the sysvol fodler of course

can you add systems to the network which this DC is servicing?

its most liekly going to be a dns zone issue though
