Has anyboty seen this error? Would you suggest the raid controller. It is a Compaq 6400 running raid 5 config. Any help would be appreciated.....

No, this drive has not been replaced. Is there a way to determine if the error is being generated by Windows or the Array Controller?

This sounds as if the HDD is not spinning up in time, try checking the HDD SCSI BIOS settings in the Configuration utility

ALso check to ensure the hard drive is not "clunking" - it may not be spinning properly due to an imminent failure of the drive.
