Crystal Enterprise 10.0
When I run the report on my production database it works fine in CE 10, but when I try to run it against the MOCK database it gives me the following error.

I have checked the database setup information and it seems to be correct.

I actually created the report in CR 10.0 and it works against the MOCK database and the Production.

Error Message:

The database logon information this report is either incomplete or incorrect. [On Cache/Page Server: <servername>.pageserver]

I think I may be just missing something. Hopefully this will help me solve a bigger problem in the process.

What connection type are you using..Can you preview the
report ( against the MOCK database) from the CMC?

I am using ODBC connection type and I cannot preview it from the CMC.

Hi,
Be sure you have the same SYSTEM DSN for that connection defined on the server as on your workstation.

I thought I had the correct information setup for the System DSN on both my workstation and the server. Just for gigggles I deleted the dsn on both and then recreated them. It worked. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Turkbear. Sometimes it is just getting that nudge in the right direction out of a paradigm that can be the difference.
