The address book cannot be sorted error 0x80040117

Hi,
I have an user who asks me information about this error.
This has been related in TID10095318 (nov. 03, 2004) but no fix until now.

Is it in the system address book or a personal one? I have seen wierd stuff when a record is corrupt in a personal address book. I resolved it by creating a new book, then copying the old book into it - the copy will fail on corrupt records.

This is a request from one user but this error can be reproduced on every wks.
This is well documented in the TID I mentionned.
This occurs in Personal Address books onto which groups were copied from Novell Address Book.

Can the problem be duplicated or fixed using a 6.5.1 GW Client?

You will have to tell me if it can or not because we have only 6.5.2 clients pushed and installed on all our PC's.

I can not duplicate the problem in our faux network using the 6.5.1 client against a 6.5.1 system. Nor could I duplicate the problem using a 6.5.1 client against a 6.5.2 system. That was my only reason for asking.
