TFTP Software 2

Hi All,

First post. Great board.
My question is can anyone recomend good TFTP server software. Preferably of the shareware\freeware variety. Have acquired a Cisco 2500 and I need to get an IOS image to the box from my desktop.

Here are two options:

You can download this free from Cisco:

The only problem is that you need a CCO login and password.

Also, you can download a generic TFTP server (no login/password required) from:

http://www.solarwinds.net/Tools/Free_tools/TFTP_Server/download.htm

You can use xmodem from a Hyper Terminal Session but it is slower.

Thanks for all the replies people. Didn't realize I could use hyper terminal this way. Learn something new everyday, which is the point of this exercise.

Hi, the best software (free) I have found is the latest one from 3com, It's covers FTP, TFTP and can also act as a syslog server.
