Is it possible to have a phone look for a specific .cnf file based on the IP that was assigned during DHCP?????

What I am wanting to do is if the IP address is say 192.168.1.xxx to get MGCDefault1.cnf and if the IP address is say 192.168.2.xxx to get MGCDefault2.cnf..... I want a certain range to go to 1 Edgemarc and another range to go to a 2nd Edgemarc.... The softswitch that it registers to will be the same for both ranges.

Thanks
Brian

To error is human.....if the machine doesnt work, then KICK IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Point them to a different TFTP server then. DHCP scope A goes to one TFTP server and DHCP scope B to another TFTP server. Each TFTP server has the appropriate .cnf file.

trying to avoid having to setup a different TFTP server.

Any other ideas on how I could accomplish this?????

No sorry I don't know a thing about edgmark softswitches. The phone is just an endpoint so it takes all the configuration from the phone system. Now I assumet that this is SIP registered phones but you'll have to reference the softswitch admin guide on how to do that.
