I downloaded tftpd32 to get a copy of the pix config as a backup. I can not get the file to transfer and I think I have the TFTP server/client idea mixed up.
Is the TFTP client the part I use on the workstation to GET the file, and the PIX is the server?
Then, the path and filename thing...how name the file to get it on the machine from the pix? I made a directory on my Windows PC as C:\nctools\tftp, then when in the PDM it asks me to name the path and file which starts with /...
I am not able to get that correct.
Should I be using a cisco-specific tftp server app? I read the docs for config of the pix fw and it was very brief with concern to the tftp server.
Thanks for any help you have to offer.
Nick
