Can someone tell me how to add a one pixel outline to text? I am sure it is easy, but I cant find a way to do it.

Select your text. Roughly in the middle of the property inspector (underneath text size), you will find the stroke colour swatch. Click on that. You can then select a colour, or if you are feeling adventurous, you can click on 'stroke options' to choose different properties for your stroke.
