Text Messaging

Please accept my apologies if this is posted in the wrong forum.

We have decided that we want to send customers a text message reminding them of there appointment dates. This message will also incluse a unique job reference number generated by our service system.

Would anybody know the vest ways to go about doing this and know what hard/software is required

This is a little of topic.

I am looking at this as well. The best route is to contact your Mobile supplier and ask what they have in place. Some will supply you links so that you can in effect email your SMS messages. Others will supply APIs so that you can do bulk SMS.
