Okay heres my problem. I have a text layer that rasterized without me telling it to. I figured this out and corrected the problem. Aparently before I was able to save the change my computer shut down (it does this on its own we have funky electrical problems here) anyhoo I went back into the document today to make some other changes and discovered that my changes with the type layer didn't take due to the shut down. I'm trying to make those changes again so I deleted the rasterized type layer and clicked the type tool to create a new type layer but now the type is a mask. I didn't tell it to be a mask and I can't get it to not be a mask. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Valerie

Do you have the Type Mask tool selected? It's like the normal text tool, but it's outlined. Click and hold the type tool to see which option you have selected.
