Text has a black square over it after pdf creation

Weird...i have a user who attemps to create a pdf using 6.0 standard full in execel and after it creates there is a black box over the text. Is this a setting that has to be changed.

I reinstalled adobe acrobat.

Hi. This has happened to me - just recently - with a Visio file. Seems that the Visio file had a situation with its layers.

I tweaked the layers in Visio and it PDFd fine.

Maybe it's not a PDF setting, nor a distiller fix, but a tweak in your native document?

Are you using Excel 2003 per chance? I doscovered Acrobat 6 might not always work flawlessly with Office 2003.
