Can someone remind me how to sieze a particular channel on a PRI. Seems like I remember you can do it from a maintenance set, but I can't remember how and for the life of me I can't find it.

Using the maintenance set is detailed in the first section of the book: "Software Input Output Reference - Maintenance"

However, I suggest using an Attendant Console if you have one:

Loop Key + Barge In + Route Access Code + Member Number
Or you can find that in the Attendant user guide here:
[©] GHTROUT.com [⇔] Resources for Nortel Meridian/CS1000 System Administrators - You Can Hire Me Too

Unfortunately, no console. What I am trying to do is do test calls by seizing each trunk to prove there is no static on any of my trunks. Can someone tell me how this is done?

You could change the route search to round robin (Route Data Block SRCH RRB). Then it will seize each channel in turn. Round robin starts from the highest numbered channel.

A good suggestion, but it could take days to get each channel. If a channel is busy, it gets skipped and you have to go through all the channels again to try that channel again. I thought there was a way to pick a channel, make a call, and then go to the next one.

If you have any old fashioned Grd start combo trunks available...
LD 36
Enter Call and wait for it to come back with number, then input a phone number to your office phone. It will call you. Once you hear a tone, you can input the trk command with the individual channel to seize it and make calls. hit * to end the call and start another.

If you don't have an old fashioned grd start combo trk, then configure a set as a maint set and you can do it from the key pad.
